CVS started prescribing these drugs this month. Open the app, do a $29 video visit, and a clinician can write you a GLP-1. No membership, no monthly fee. That's the cheapest way to get in front of a prescriber on our whole chart.

The visit is $29. The drug it points you to is the $299-a-month branded pill. Add them up and CVS lands in the middle of our rankings, 13th, not near the cheap end.

CVS also advertises "$25 a month with commercial insurance." That only holds if your plan covers a GLP-1 at all, and most of the fight is right there. If you have Kaiser, coverage depends on your region, because Kaiser is really a stack of separate regional plans, each with its own list. We mapped it region by region: Kaiser and GLP-1s. If you have Cigna, its national policy covers Wegovy and Zepbound at a BMI of 30, or 27 with another condition, after three months of diet and behavior change. The cheapest GLP-1s this week

$149 a month, compounded semaglutide at Strut Health. That's the entry rate. It climbs with your dose.

$159 a month at Shed, on the twelve-month plan. Six months is $179 a month, month to month is $199.

$169 a month, Found, on the twelve-month plan. Month to month it's $289.

$175 a month at Ivim Health, on the six-month supply: a $75 membership plus about $100 for the medication. The shorter four-month supply runs closer to $200.
