Zepbound's label says take the missed dose as soon as you can, up to 4 days (96 hours) after the day you missed. Past day 4, skip it and wait for your usual day.
Wegovy's label counts forward instead. If your next dose is more than 2 days away, take the missed one now. If it's less than 2 days away, skip it. Miss 2 or more in a row and it says to restart at a lower dose. The Wegovy pill is simpler: skip it and take the next one the following day.
Both sections were revised this year, Zepbound in August 2026 and Wegovy in June, and our missed-dose guide has the rest. Compounded pens have no label of their own, so ask your prescriber which rule they follow.
No program changed its headline price this week.
Compounded semaglutide is made by a licensed compounding pharmacy to a prescription. The FDA does not review it for safety, effectiveness or quality, and it is not Wegovy or Ozempic. It costs less because the pharmacy isn't paying for the clinical trials and the FDA approval behind the brand. Yucca and SnagRx bill month to month.
