What Texas Medicaid covers
Texas Medicaid does not cover Wegovy or Zepbound for obesity. The diabetes path (Ozempic, Mounjaro) is covered with PA and a documented A1c above threshold. PA denials are common; first-submission approval is not guaranteed.
