How we make money
Some of the links on this Site are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and sign up with a partner program, we may receive a commission from that program, at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you click our link or go directly to the program.
How affiliate relationships affect our content
Programs are ranked according to the criteria published in our methodology, not by commission rate. We routinely recommend programs that pay us less when they score better.
Programs we have no relationship with
We earn nothing from several of the major programs on the chart. We review and rank them on the same framework as every other program.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising" (16 CFR § 255). The presence of an affiliate link is also disclosed contextually wherever it appears on the Site.
Transparency commitments
- Our top-ranked program is the one our methodology says is best for the use case described, not the one paying highest commission.
- We do not accept payment from programs in exchange for favorable rankings or removal of unfavorable information.
- We disclose every affiliate relationship we have, including those that are inactive or pending approval.
- We will publicly correct factual errors on any program review when notified, regardless of whether the program is a partner.
