Accessibility statement.
GLP Chart is committed to making this site usable by everyone, including readers who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions or other assistive technology. This page states what we do, what we have not yet done, and how to tell us about a barrier you hit.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard cited by the US Department of Justice for ADA Title III compliance and by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. It is the comparison-site industry baseline.
What we test
- Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element on the homepage chart, filter bar, FAQ accordion and program pages can be reached and activated using only the Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter and Space keys. Tab order follows visual reading order.
- Screen reader. Manual passes with VoiceOver (Safari/macOS) and NVDA (Firefox/Windows) on the homepage chart, the program detail pages and the PA letter library.
- Semantic structure. One h1 per page; heading hierarchy is not skipped. The chart is a real ARIA
role="table"with row/cell semantics, not a div soup. - Color contrast.Body text against the page background meets WCAG AA contrast (≥4.5:1). Burnt-orange brand color is reserved for elements where the contrast against the cream paper passes.
- Alt text. Every program logo image carries a descriptive alt attribute. Decorative icons (sort arrows, info icons) carry
aria-hidden="true". - Animation. Row fade-in animations respect
prefers-reduced-motion; users who opt out of motion see no chart row animations.
What we have not yet tested
We are honest about gaps. The following have not had a formal audit pass yet:
- The geo-IP banner dismiss button's keyboard reachability in all locales.
- The mid-chart newsletter signup's screen-reader flow after subscription confirmation.
- The Spanish-language pages have inherited en-US accessibility patches; a Spanish-screen-reader pass is pending.
These are on the editorial roadmap. If you hit a barrier on any of them, please email us and we will fix it directly rather than wait for the audit cadence.
Report a barrier
If you hit anything on GLP Chart you cannot reach or use, please email accessibility@glpchart.com. Tell us the page URL, the assistive technology you were using and what you were trying to do. We will reply within 5 business days and fix verified barriers directly on the site (no support-ticket maze).
Third-party content
GLP Chart links out to telehealth program websites for the "Visit" action. We do not control the accessibility of those external sites. If a partner program's site is inaccessible to you, please tell us and we will flag it in our editorial review.
