Privacy Policy

How we handle data on glpchart.com.

Last updated June 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GLP Chart ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses and discloses information when you visit glpchart.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: When you contact us by email or sign up for our newsletter, we collect the email address and any message contents you provide.

Onboarding survey and research panel: If you fill out the optional onboarding survey or join the research panel, we collect the answers you give: which GLP-1 medication you take, your dose, how long you have been on it, your primary condition, your insurance type, your state, and self-reported weight or weight change. These answers are tied to your email address. Every field is optional. You can submit with no answers and just confirm your email. The research panel is voluntary participation, not a clinical trial. The data is not FDA-supervised and not HIPAA-regulated.

Email provider: We use Beehiiv as our email service provider. We share your email address, your state, your insurance type, your research-panel consent status, and the signup source with Beehiiv. Health answers (medication, dose, condition, time on the drug, weight, and side-effect ratings) are not sent to Beehiiv or any other third party. When you submit the survey, we also keep an audit record that notes which questions you answered (not the answers themselves), a one-way hash of your IP address (not the raw IP), and a timestamp, so we can show that consent was given.

Information collected automatically: Like most websites, we automatically receive technical information when you visit, including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed and timestamps. This data is collected via standard web server logs and two analytics tools. The first is Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless, aggregate-only service that counts page views and referrers without cookies or persistent identifiers. The second is Google Analytics 4 (GA4), run in IP-anonymized mode, which records page views, scroll depth and button or outbound-link clicks so we can see which chart filters and articles people use. GA4 sets cookies. Both tools are turned off entirely on any page where you enter health information, where no analytics or third-party tags load at all. Query strings are stripped before any page view is recorded, and we do not send your survey or health answers to either analytics tool.

Cookies and similar technologies: The Site may use cookies for analytics and to track outbound clicks to partner sites. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Local browser storage: Some interactive features (e.g. recommend / not-for-me votes, newsletter signup confirmation) store data only in your browser via localStorage. We do not transmit that data to a server.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to operate and improve the Site, respond to inquiries, send newsletters you have requested, attribute affiliate referrals and comply with legal obligations.

3. Affiliate Tracking

The Site contains affiliate links. When you click a partner link, the partner may set cookies or collect identifiers to attribute the referral. We do not receive or store your purchase details, payment information or health information from partners. Each partner's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help operate the Site (hosting, analytics, and our email provider Beehiiv), with affiliate networks that attribute referrals and where required by law. What we share with Beehiiv is listed in section 1; health answers are not part of it.

5. Your Choices

You may unsubscribe from any newsletter at any time using the link in each email. You may request deletion of your information by emailing the address below. Browser settings allow you to disable cookies, although some Site features may not function correctly without them.

6. Children's Privacy

The Site, the onboarding survey, and the research panel are for adults who are 18 or older. The Site is not directed to minors, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. US-only service

GLP Chart is a US-only service. The research panel and our collection of health data are offered only to US residents. We do not direct the Site to the European Union or the United Kingdom, and EU or UK residents should not submit health data through the survey or the research panel. If you are outside the US, please do not provide health information here. Questions: contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
