The FTC says Hims charged people for refills about 10 days before they expected it. The complaint says the window to cancel shut two days before that early charge.

The complaint says the first charge came sooner still, almost immediately after people submitted the intake form and before a clinician had prescribed anything. Most customers never got a consultation at all, the FTC says.

The FTC, the state of Utah and Los Angeles County filed it on July 29 in federal court in California. Hims hasn't answered the complaint. No court has ruled on any of it. Hims & Hers sits on our chart at $448 a month for the branded route.
