What this means in practice
MO HealthNet does not cover Wegovy for weight loss. Its own prior-authorization form (2575-053, April 2026) says so outright. Zepbound is a different story. It is covered for weight management at BMI 30, or 27 with a weight-related condition like high blood pressure. Your doctor has to get the plan to sign off first, which is what prior authorization means. So in Missouri, Zepbound is the GLP-1 to ask your doctor about.
