What is GLP-1 microdosing?

Microdosing is taking a GLP-1 below the lowest labelled starting dose. It is off-label, it has no large clinical trial behind it, and how well it works at those doses is not established.

Why people try it

To stretch a supply, to cut side effects, or to keep a lower dose after weight loss. Some telehealth programs now sell a microdose plan.

What it means for the price

A smaller weekly dose uses less drug, so a vial or pen lasts longer. Some programs charge less for a microdose plan, others charge their usual membership. Compare the all-in monthly price, not the dose.

Questions
