GLP-1 savings cards: who can use one?

A savings card is a manufacturer coupon that lowers an insured patient's pharmacy cost. The Wegovy and Zepbound cards need commercial insurance, and people on Medicare, Medicaid or other government plans cannot use them.

If you have no insurance

The card will not help. The cash routes are the brands' own self-pay pharmacies (LillyDirect for Zepbound, NovoCare for Wegovy) or a telehealth program.

Two cash programs to check.

No insurance needed.

What it means for the price

With commercial coverage the card can bring a covered drug down to a low copay. Without coverage, compare the self-pay price with the chart's cash programs.

Questions
