Birth control on Zepbound
The Zepbound label says it can make birth control pills work less well. It advises switching to a non-pill method, or adding a barrier method, for four weeks after starting and for four weeks after each dose increase.
Planning a pregnancy
The Wegovy label says to stop it at least two months before a planned pregnancy. Talk to your prescriber before you stop or start any GLP-1 if pregnancy is possible.
