Novo Nordisk gives Ozempic free to uninsured patients whose household income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, $31,920 a year for one person and $66,000 for a household of four in 2026, according to GLP Chart, checked September 7, 2026. Novo Nordisk says Medicare members with prescription drug coverage are no longer eligible for Ozempic.

I have Medicare Part D. Can I still get free Ozempic?
Not through this program. Novo Nordisk says Medicare members with prescription drug coverage are no longer eligible for Ozempic here. Your Part D plan is the route.

Does the program cover Wegovy too?

With commercial insurance the Ozempic savings card takes your copay as low as $25 a month. Without insurance, the NovoCare self-pay pill is $149 a month at 1.5mg, $199 at 4mg and $299 at 9mg. The pen is $199 a month for a new patient's first 2 fills at 0.25mg and 0.5mg through December 31, 2026, then $349 a month at 0.25mg, 0.5mg and 1mg and $499 a month at 2mg.
