Does ACA Marketplace cover GLP-1 medications?

No. ACA Marketplace does not pay for GLP-1 medications for weight loss.

Usually no. ACA Marketplace plans rarely cover GLP-1s for weight loss. A KFF review of federally facilitated Marketplace formularies found that only 1 percent of plans cover Wegovy for obesity and none cover Zepbound for obesity.

Applies to aCA Marketplace individual and family plans, including Ambetter and Oscar.
