Journalist FAQ
How are prices verified? By completing a real signup on each program and screenshotting the displayed maintenance price. Where a program operates a separate cash-pay rail and an insurance-routed rail, we report the cash-pay number. Insurance copays are excluded because they depend on plan terms, not program terms.
How often do you re-verify? Every Monday. The Price Index dataset (CSV + PDF) is refreshed on the first Monday of each month, with the file name carrying the month tag.
Do you accept paid placements? No. Programs do not see their score before we publish it. The rank order is determined before we touch any partnership conversation. We accept affiliate revenue, disclosed on every page; the rank order is independent of the affiliate relationship. See editorial independence.
Can I reuse the chart without an iframe? Yes. Reuse any number or table row under Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 with attribution to glpchart.com/price-index. We ask that you cite the month edition so the stat is anchored to a date.
Can I see the underlying source documents? Yes, on request to press@glpchart.com. We will send purchase-flow screenshots, program pricing pages and (for compounded prices) the 503A pharmacy invoices that document the quoted maintenance number.
Can I get embargoed pre-release of next month's figures? Yes. Email press@glpchart.com at least 72 hours before publication.
