Yes. The TRICARE pharmacy benefit covers Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes with an approved prior authorization. TRICARE names Mounjaro among the GLP-1 diabetes drugs it covers (alongside Trulicity, Ozempic, and Victoza). Mounjaro is not covered for weight loss. The weight-loss GLP-1 drugs (Wegovy, Zepbound, Saxenda) are a separate benefit with their own criteria. This reflects the published policy verified August 2026.
