About GLP Chart
Independent comparison site for US weight loss telehealth programs. We rank every major provider against the same five criteria, every Monday, and we publish what we find.
Why this exists
The US weight loss program market is fragmented and confusing. Sixteen-plus providers, three pricing structures, four definitions of "lock-in," compounded versus FDA-approved versus generic, insurance versus cash, and an ecosystem of affiliate sites that grade everything 9/10 because they earn higher commissions when you sign up.
The honest comparison most people want, "which of these will actually work for someone like me, and what will I actually pay," takes 30+ hours of forum-reading to assemble. We assembled it. Then we keep it current.
Who runs this
GLP Chart is built and edited by John, an independent operator based in Australia. The site is not affiliated with any of the programs it ranks, not owned by a parent company in the wellness or telehealth industry, and not part of a publisher network that bundles editorial coverage with advertising deals.
I am not a doctor. Nothing on this site is medical advice. Decisions about prescription medications belong between you and a licensed clinician.
Editorial standards
- Same scoring, every program. Five dimensions, ten points each, weighted equally. Methodology is published.
- No paid placement. A program's affiliate commission rate is irrelevant to its score. We rank programs whose commissions are zero or pending alongside programs paying the highest rates.
- No removal of unfavorable information. If a program asks us to remove a fact, we remove it only if we cannot verify it. We do not bury facts because they lose us a partnership.
- Source primacy. We pull pricing from each provider's public-facing pricing page. We pull member feedback from public Reddit, Trustpilot, and program-specific community sites. We do not commission reviews.
- Update cadence. Pricing tables refresh every Monday. Full rescores happen quarterly or whenever a program announces a material change.
- Plain corrections. If we publish a factual error and you tell us, we correct it and timestamp the correction. hello@glpchart.com.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and sign up with a partner provider, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Some programs we rank are not affiliate partners and never will be, in which case we earn nothing if you choose them. The presence or absence of an affiliate relationship is disclosed contextually wherever it appears, and the full affiliate disclosure is published.
We do not run display ads. We do not sell email addresses. We do not run a paid newsletter tier. The only revenue model is affiliate commissions on programs we'd recommend regardless.
What this site is not
- Not a pharmacy or medication retailer. We do not dispense, ship, or fulfill anything.
- Not a telehealth provider. We do not connect you to clinicians or write prescriptions.
- Not a medical advice publication. We summarize publicly available program information; we do not give diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or dosing guidance.
- Not a sponsored content channel. Programs cannot pay to appear, to be ranked higher, or to have unfavorable content removed.
